My Last Blog

Heyyy! So I didn't get to blog during second period today. The computers were all being used, and when they were available, I was too busy looking at magazines LOL. So there's not much to say. I'm glad speech was my first college class, and it's pretty cool that it was online. I think I did well. All of the assignments were really easy. And well the assessments were a bit tricky at times, but I did it. Oh yeah I saw that due date for the assessments was changed to the 8th. I'm so glad because I need a little more time to raise my grade. I'm going to start on my power points in a few minutes. I should've done them a long time ago, but too many things came up, and I just kept on procrastinating. But it's ok there's a lot of time, and I think I can finish them in about an hour. Hmm... anyways.. it felt weird going back to school today. It felt like the first day of school again.. LOL. I'm surprised we didn't have a lot of work though. That's good!! Tomorrow we'll probably have more assignments.. Oh well. Well anyways, I better get started on those power points before it gets too late. Nice blogging with yall!! <3 Byee!!

The holidays are over :[

Well it's back to school tomorrow. The Thanksgiving holidays went by wayyy too fast! I enjoyed my whole week off. It was fun and relaxing. I wish it was last Sunday. In a way I want to go back to school because I miss everyone. I'm not looking forward to waking up early and getting used to the routine. It's ok because pretty soon we'll be out for the Christmas holidays.. Oooo Christmas! Yay! I can't wait :D. I hope it snows. LOL doubt it. But who knows???!! Anyways, today was a very relaxing day. I didn't do much. I worked on the assessments for chapters 9-12. I'll finish them tomorrow because I am definitely not satisfied with the grades I got on them. I'll also do my powerpoints tomorrow as soon as I get home from school. Today, I didn't feel like going anywhere so I stayed home and hung out with my mom. I was also in my room playing the very addictive Guitar Hero: World Tour. YEAH! I bought it on Friday. It's really fun!! I barely finished "MEDIUM". I didn't start on easy because it was TOO easy. I was in my room in the dark playing for a lonnnngggg time. When I looked in the mirror, my eyes were bloodshot red, and they were burning like crazy. I was like "Whoa that's not good." So I decided to stop. LOL But I ended up playing again for another long while. I didn't go out of my room for a while and, when I went to the living room to talk to my mom, she was like vampire or what?!, since I didn't go out into the sunlight like in all day. Ironically she was watching True Blood. Hahaha funny! So yeah after guitar hero, I got in the shower, and got back out to play a little more guitar hero. Now I'm here typing my last blog.. or second to the last blog since I'll be doing another one during second period tomorrow. But yeah I can't believe this class is already going to end. It went by pretty fast. Just a few more assignments, and I will have completed my first college class!! Cool or what?! Ok well I'm going to go lay down and watch tv, hopefully they are showing something good... They never do on Sunday nights, well not lately LOL... Alrighty well talk to you all later <3

Friday Already..

Ok so this week has gone by way too fast. I can't believe the holidays are pretty much over. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. I know I did :). So yeah.. Friday!! Today I plan to go to Alice with my mom to watch Twilight, again!! She wants to see it even though I just saw it a few days ago. It doesn't matter though..I don't mind watching it again :). After that, I want to go to Walmart and buy Guitar Hero with my birthday money. I don't know which one I want... For sure not GH2 or GH3 since I've already played them and gotten pretty far on them.. I made it to expert and advanced more than halfway through on both so I guess you could say I'm pretty good. LOL such a dork playing video games!! Yeah I want that and maybe a few movies or something. Then when I come home, I want to go out with some friends. I'll probably cruise around town for a while, hopefully... If not I'll just stay in and find something to do. I really need to get started on those power points that are due on Monday. I need to read too. For sure this weekend, I'll dedicate all my time towards the assignments.. or atleast I'll try LOL. Knowing me, I'll probably get distracted, but yes I'll finish by Monday. :) Umm.. I guess that's it.

My Birthday!!

Heyyy! So yesterday was my birthday! I'm finally 17. I don't feel any different, but oh well LOL. I had a really good day yesterday and the day before(the eve of my birthday). On monday, I was with my mom and my aunt Elva, and we were hanging out for a while. We watched tv, and we ate pizza together as my pre-birthday dinner I guess LOL. Then after that, James came to my house to do his power point on my computer. After that we hung out for a while and talked and laughed about things. Then by the time I knew it, it was past midnight, and James was the first one to tell me Happy Birthday. Well I mean other people told me through text messages or messages/comments on myspace. But James was the first to actually say it!! Then I started getting a few more texts and the calls didn't come till the actually day. I'm surprised I didn't get a call or text from some people that I thought would be some of the first ones to tell me.But it's ok. I don't care!! So yeah during the day yesterday, I just stayed home and relaxed, watched TV. I was going to go the boys basketball game to work at the concession, but I decided to stay home. I started getting ready at about 8. I was going to go the movies in Alice to watch Twilight at 8:40, but we weren't going to make it on time. So instead, James and I went to Corpus to watch Twilight at 10:45. It was really good!! I liked it a lot! Dang that Edward Cullen is one sexy vamp!! LOL. Anways, the movie finished at about 1:00, and we got on the road and stopped in Alice at walmart so that I could buy some make-up that I needed. Then we went through the drive thru at Whataburger to get some food. We got home at about 3 ish. And as soon as I got home I changed into my PJ's and fell asleep in my comfortable bed! At like 11:30 this morning, I got a text message from Jay asking if the movie was good LOL. Now I'm here doing a blog telling everyone how much fun I had on my birthday's eve and birthday LOL. I'm off to help my mom get things ready for Thanksgiving. So I'll talk to everyone later. Bye <3

A BLOG <3

Hey there guys! So it's Sunday. And I'm bored! I decided to do a blog because I haven't done one in a few days. Hmm.. I really don't know what to say... or type. I finished my cross-gender power point today, and I already submitted it, so it feels good to have that out of the way. I went to Corpus yesterday, and I bought clothes, perfume, shoes, makeup, and I cut my hair. All of that was a huge birthday gift from my mom, so yeah I'm happy with all my stuff :]. Tomorrow, my aunt's going to give me an early birthday gift, probably just money.Since I got all of these early gifts, I won't be getting anything on my birthday, but I will be going to the movies with James to see Twilight, so that will be fun :D. I'm pretty excited to see it. I heard it was really good. I need to start reading chapters 9-12. I'll probably do that tomorrow because I don't think I'll be doing anything. Anyways, just thought I'd type a few lines to let everyone know what's goin' on. I'm going to find something to do. Later! <3

Last Day!

Yesss! I am so glad that we get out for the holidays today. I'm soooo excited!! It feels good to know that I'll be getting a break from school and all the work. I haven't had time to just relax since teachers give us work like crazy. Since today is the last day of the six weeks, grades are due. I am very satisfied with all of my grades because they are all A's! I did have a "B" in Chemistry, but Perez put in all the grades, and my average reached an "A". I also had a "C" in History.. Yes a "C"!! I can't handle a "C". It was his fault though because when he gave us a test, it was nothing like the review. The test was full of things I didn't even know. I took the test again, and surprisingly I got a "100". Craziness! But yes I have all "A"s, so it's all good. Well this is going to be a short blog because I want to go read the new PEOPLE magazine. I know a picture of Ryan Reynolds is in there, so I'm going to check it out!!! :D Yum..lol.<3

LaLaLa...

Hey there! Ugh I am so sick right now. I have fever and a major sinus headache. My throat hurts a lot too. I wish I would get better... especially since the holidays are going to start tomorrow! I can't wait. Woo-Hoo and then my birthday! The big 1-7. Cool <3. But yeah I'm just here blogging since I haven't had a chance to do one this week. I've been busy with tests since this is the last week of the six weeks. And then I went to the game last night. I had fun too :D. Burrrr I'm so cold right now. I'm sitting here at the computer in my pj's and wrapped in my favorite blanket.. It's still not warming me up that much though. Hot chocolate or what?! Yeah that would be like sooo perfect, but I don't have any :[. Oh well. Hmm so I'm probably going to do all of the powerpoints tomorrow as soon as I get out of school at 12:30. I'm going to be here at home with nothing to do until late.. like at night. I want to get everything out of the way and not wait until the last minute. I think I'm going to go cut my hair tomorrow and probably dye it also. It's not going to be a drastic change, but I figured I should change it up a little.. cut some layers, and go a little darker. I want to do this before my birthday because I figured.. NEW AGE.. NEW LOOK.. lol! Yeah-ness. Ok so right now, I'm going to head to my living room to watch tv, and wrap up with maybe 2 more blankets so I won't be shivering anymore lol. Byeee <3

A litte free time. :]

Hey there! What's goin on!!?? Well today was a relaxing day. For once I didn't have work to do for school or the college class. I was able to take a break. Right now, I'm pretty much just myspacing, blogging, listening to music(hotncold by katyperry), and texting.. multitasking!! Yeah well I'm glad I got the Tannen Activity and Cross Gender Communication assignments out of the way! They were pretty fun, and it was cool that I was answering questions dealing with relationships, and that's ALWAYS interesting to me :D lol. I'm probably going to do the personality inventory powerpoint early this week since it's due on Saturday. I'll also do the cross gender communication powerpoint early because I don't want to have to worry about it during the holidays. I'm excited for Saturday because I'm going to go to Corpus to buy some stuff that I want..probably get a few birthday gifts. My birthday is on Tuesday(the 25th), and on the day before, I'm going to the movies with a friend. I don't know what I'm going to watch, probably Twilight but I don't know. I can't wait :D. It's going to be fun!!!! I'm not even sure what I'm going to do on the day of my birthday.. but hopefully I have fun! The day after, I'm going to go to my dad's to spend the night and have thanksgiving lunch on thursday. Then I'll have dinner with my mom. I'm glad we have a lot of time off for thanksgiving. We get out early this week on Thursday and don't have school on Friday. Then we have the whole week off. I'm really stoked!! Anyways, I'm going to go get my spanish II notebook organized because it's due tomorrow. See ya <3

Austin <3

Hey there! What's up everyone?! Well I just got home from Austin about 45 minutes ago. I'm exhausted. I had fun though. When we arrived at the capitol for the student legislative session, I looked around and found my way to the room where we were supposed to go. I got a name tag and went to a group/committee. I was so nervous because I wasn't with Blaz or Cristina Lu when they put me into a group. I was with a whole bunch of people I didn't know. I felt really uncomfortable because right when I sat down, a guy started talking and asking questions about different bills/issues. Everyone's vocabulary was so advanced and the questions that were being asked were like way above my level.. well way above what I'm used to! When different people answered using such big words I was like whoa!! When the speaker was walking around asking random people questions, I was hiding my face. In my head I was saying "Don't pick me! Don't pick me!" I looked at Blaz who was on the table diagonal from mine and our faces said "What the heck are we doing here?!" After the guy finished talking, we started discussing our bill in our group. I wasn't really paying attention because I didn't really understand the words they were using. So I talked to a few girls and a guy. We got to know each other and they turned out to be really nice! After that, it was time to eat. As people were getting their plates and stuff, I went to Blaz and I was like "Wow I feel so awkward here." He felt the same way. I went back to my table to talk to my committee. We got to know each other a little more by asking if we played sports and when our birthday was and if we had pets. We laughed a lot too! We also exchanged myspace addresses right before we headed to the house chamber thingy. In there, the main person of our committee presented the bill and people went up to ask questions. It started at 2 and was going to last until 5. After that we went down 6th street aka wild party street and saw a few weirdos. You would think they wouldn't be out until late at night LOL. Then we went around the college just to check out the buildings and all that. Then we headed home and dropped Blaz off with his dad in San Antonio. Then we arrived in Benavides about an hour ago. I'm tired of being on the road!! So now I'm off to the store to get some food for my dog, then I'm just going to chill!! Bye <3

Heyyy! I finally have time to write a long blog, well longer than usual :). I have no homework tonight! I got my english presentation out of the way today, and I feel sooo much better. I think I did well. I had good eye contact, and it looked like people were interested in what I was saying. Now that the whole research paper is out of the way, I'm kinda stress free.. atleast for a couple of days. Tomorrow, I'm going to start working on the Tannen Activity and Cross Gender Communication assignment. I'm going to try to finish it, and if I don't I still have a few more days. I won't work on it on Friday though because I'm going to Austin. And then when I get back I want to go to the basketball game. This weekend, I'm going to try to do as much college work as possible so I won't have to do anything during the Thanksgiving break, which begins next Thursday.. well for Benavides High School atleast! I can't wait. My birthday is on the 25th so that's something else I am looking forward to. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I know for sure I'm going to the movies :]. I hope I get good gifts too LOL. So yeah I'm going to be 17.. finally!! I hope I have a good one this year :]... I'm pretty sure I will. Ahh I'm stoked that I get to go to sleep tonight knowing that I don't have a test or any type of presentation tomorrow. I feel awesome! Everything's going well for me so I'm happy :]. Ok well it turns out, this blog isn't going to be long after all because I don't know what else to say. I'm going to go lay down on my comfortable bed and watch tv. Bye <3

Homecoming 2008

I can't believe it's over!! :( It took a long time to get here, and then it went by extremely fast. It was a really good day yesterday with the assembly and pep rally. I had fun! My feet were hurting a lot though because of my high heels, but it's ok. As for the game, I wish we would've won, but La Villa was really tough and they were undefeated, so yeah. Before the game, I was watching the boys stretch and practice a little. I thought about the seniors(football players and band members), and I realized how much I'm going to miss them when they graduate. They are all really great people, and I have gotten really close to some of them. I was talking to Dina and Lynn while we were sitting there on the bleachers with the other band members, and I started crying. Not heavily but a couple of tears came down. I know it's going to be so different without them. I'm so used to having them there, and next year when I'm a senior, they won't be there and it's like a part of me will be missing. No more Kalyzza or Christina or Christina Lu in the flute section :[. And also without the other senior band members, it's going to be really weird. Without the senior football players like James, Anthony, Rollie, and the others, watching a football game next year won't be the same. I mean of course I love my junior guys, but I'm so used to having the senior guys playing. When Meghan sang two songs for the seniors at the homecoming assembly, the words were just so deep, I thought I was going to cry. My eyes actually got a little watery. But I had to hold it in. :[. Yes I'm going to miss the seniors '09 :( a lot!!!! This blog is making me sad, so I better stop before I start crying. Well I'm going to start on my work. I'll talk to everyone later <3. Byee!!!

So busy!

Hey everyone!! What's going on? Wow It's been a while since I've blogged. I've been extremely busy!! It's homecoming week, so I've been really occupied with everything. Monday was NFL/Cowboys/Indians Day.. and then after that there was a Powderpuff game. Yesterday was back a decade. Today was pajama day. Tomorrow is spirit day with a parade and burning of the B. And Friday is the main day: HOMECOMING!! It's a lot!! I don't want it to end. It's been fun!! It's sad for the seniors since it's their last one.. I hope everything turns out perfect for them. I wish the best of luck to all of the candidates. .Anyways, I need to stop right now because I have to get things ready for tomorrow and friday. I'll try to blog again tomorrow. Bye!! :]

No Work..

I'm here in Spanish II with nothing to do. Only two more periods to go for today! The day is almost over, and I can't wait!! As soon as I get out of school, I'm leaving to Hebbron to see my grandma at the nursing home. When I get home, I'm going to help my mom make cupcakes for her students for Halloween. Since she and I won't be going to school tomorrow, we are going to drop off the cupcakes to her aide. This morning, I met my dad here in Benavides because he was on his way to work in Zapata. He dropped of some money for me to take to Corpus tomorrow to buy all my homecoming stuff. I wish it was already tomorrow morning. I'm so excited to go shopping for everything. I'm going to get an early start and leave to Corpus at about 8 am. I probably won't be back until late at night because I have a lot to buy. I might even decide to spend the night there at my aunt's house if it gets too late. As for my chapter assessments, I'm done!! I finished chapter 8 last night, and I made a 92 on the first attempt. I'm satisfied with my grades on all the chapters because they are all A's! I wish I could go to the Halloween carnival tonight. I was really looking forward to the haunted house!! But I am going to go see my grandma since she's sick. I would feel bad if I wouldn't go because I haven't seen her in a while. Anyways that's it for today. I'll talk to everyone later!! A Little Less Stress

Ok so it turns out that my stress is gone.. well most of it is. The spanish II projects are going to be due on Friday instead. Since I won't be in school, I'll turn them in on Monday. That means that I don't have to do them both tonight or be rushing. I really should get atleast one done because this weekend I have to do my rough draft for the research paper, and I have to read an accelerated reader book so that I can take a test on it for a grade in english III. As soon as I get home I'm going to read chapter 8 for this class, then probably do a little bit of the project. I'll also get together with a friend for a while. Afterwards, I'll continue to work on my spanish projects. Then tomorrow, I won't go to the halloween carnival because I have to get a lot of things done. Unless I try to make time to have a little fun. I'll try my best. Anyways it's eighth period, and I'm tired from a long boring day. I'm going to stop right now. So I'll talk to you later! Bye :)

Stress!!

Ok I don't even know where to start! I have sooo much work to do this week. I'm going crazy!! I have to finish reading chapter 8 for this class so that I can do my assessment. I have to do ten to twenty notecards by tomorrow for Chavera's research assignment. I have to do an outline and a works cited page by Thursday. I have to have the rough draft by Friday. I have to do two spanish II projects by Thursday. Oh my gosh. It's unbelievable. I hope I can get everything done without stressing out too much. It's a lot of work. I need to start on the notecards today for sure!! Obviously since they are due tomorrow. I don't have 4 X 6 notecards though, so my mom is taking me to San Diego to get some. I'm also going to get some posterboards for the spanish II projects. Or atleast for one of the project. Luckily, the due dates for the Tannen thing and Personality powerpoint have changed. I was going to be more stressed out if I had to do the Tannen Activity by Friday. I can barely even find time to blog!! Since I can't get started without the notecards, I decided "Hey I'll do a bloggy blog." So... here I am, blogging whatever comes to mind. So today was picture day. I didn't think it was going to be until tomorrow, but yes it was today. Luckily I wore my hair down. I was going to wear it up, but I was like "No. I like it down. :] " I hope the picture came out good. I was laughing a little bit because Danielle and Nikki were telling me stuff in the background. LOL :). But I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see. Ok so I think I'm going to stop right here. It's 4:59, and I have no time to waste. I'm off to San Diego to get my stuff. About to do some work..

Well once again, I'm blogging in TAKS since I don't want to do study island stuff. I'm probably going to start doing my chapter 1-4 assessments right now. I have A's on all of them.. a 96 on chapter 1 and a 92 on chapters 2,3, and 4. I want to try to get higher than a 92. If not, it's no biggie. It doesn't hurt to try though. It's just hard because it doesn't tell you which one's you missed. The questions are kind of confusing, and it seems like multiple answers could be correct. It's hard to decide which one, even if I use the book for help. I really want atleast a 96 on all of them. I don't think I'll get a perfect score, but then again a miracle could happen. Bored..

Hey everyone! I'm here in TAKS.. or TAP, whatever you want to call it. I just finished doing a thing on study island. I didn't want to, but I had to. Since I finished, I decided to get on here and blog for a little bit. So far, my day is going ok. I wish it would go by a little bit faster though. I want to get home and start reading my chapters 5-8 for the class. I haven't even started because I have been extremely busy with other stuff, such as my english III research project. I have CCD tonight from 7 to 8 so there's an hour that I'm gonna lose. I'll probably just read chapter 5 tonight and save the others for another time. I need to get started on the other assignments for the class so that I won't be worrying about them at the last minute. I need to do them before homecoming week because I know I definitely won't have time to be doing work. There are so many activites going on, and I don't want to miss out because of assignments! This weekend, I'll probably try to get everything out of the way, or atleast most of the stuff. I was hoping maybe to go shopping this weekend or go to the movies. I don't think that'll happen. But then again, maybe it will :). I hope so. Hmm.. so I really don't know what else to write.. or type... Well this Friday is the eagle band's last time marching for this football season. :( It's so sad for the seniors. I'm going to miss them. Anyways, yeah we won't be marching on the following Friday(halloween!) because we don't have a game. The following Friday, it's homecoming, and the half time is dedicated to the coronation of the king, queen, and all that. I really hope we win these last two games. Our guys deserve it!! Hopefully we go to the playoffs. I love watching them play. It's so exciting. I don't want football season to end :(. Anyways, I think I'm done for today. I'll blog again soon. Maybe! Before I relax..

Hey there! I just thought I'd log on to this blogger thing and write a quick on before I chill. Ok so I just got back from the band competition in Robstown. We made a 1!! I'm very excited. With all of our hard work, practices on Monday nights, sacrificing our straight hair in the humidity in the mornings, we definitely deserved this. I'm glad we got a 1 because this was the last band competition for the senior class of '09. They are saying bye bye to marching contests but leaving with a satisfying rating. I'm extremely tired, so I'm going to take a shower and probably go to sleep. I just wanted to let everyone know about the competition. Have an awesome weekend!

Hey! What's up? I just finished my power point on "Listening Skills". Well I still need to add the narration, but I don't have a mic. I'll get it from my mom's classroom tomorrow. I plan to complete the power point before I get ready for the game. I'm so excited for tomorrow. We have to win! I wish our guys the best of luck because they really deserve a victory. Tomorrow is the last practice before the band has to compete. Competition on Saturday is making me feel stressed out. Wish us luck because we have all worked really hard. Other than the stress of competition and assignments, my week has been really fantastic. I got A's on my assessments, I did the power point and all my other work for this class. This weekend won't be too relaxing because like I said, I have the competition, and I know I have some projects to do. Maybe I'll make time to hang out with someone. So Much To Do!

Hello everyone :)
How is everything going? Hope all is well. Hmm..well I just got out of the shower. I had band practice earlier, and we worked really hard because competition is on Saturday. We want a one!
We deserve a one! There is so much to do this week, I feel like I'm going to go crazy. I have to read the book for the class, I'm going to take some test(not sure what it's called) at school, I have to watch the presidential debate/do the assignment on it, I have to start my powerpoint on listening skills, I have to go to the game, and I have to go to competition. That means the only free day I have is Sunday. And I really don't like Sundays! I'm pretty stressed out, but hopefully I can get things done and be successful :). Oh yeah and I also have to pick a topic for a research thing in English III. I don't know what to pick. I need some help deciding. Well once again, I failed to read chapter 4 this weekend. I did read chapter 3 though. I also did the work for it, and got A's. So I'm satisfied with that. I began reading chapter 4 as soon as I got home, and I only need about 6 or 7 more pages. Then I'll do the tests and assessments. I'm going to go read now so that I won't have to tomorrow! Bye :)

Friday!

Thank god it's Friday. I'm so excited for the game tonight :). I have a had a long week and am looking forward to a weekend of rest, kind of. I still have to read those two chapters, but I will get them done. As for today, it's been a really good day. There hasn't been too much work, and I'm glad I'm with my friends. I really don't feel like traveling to Agua Dulce for the game. I wish it was here in Benavides. It's just so much better when we don't have to be at the band hall so early. For home games, we have to be at the band hall by 6. For away games, we have to be there at 5. That means I don't have a lot of time to relax at home. Well it is 8th period, and the bell is going to ring in about 8 minutes. Just thought I'd type a quick little blog since I haven't really had too much time this week. I'll probably blog again this weekend. Have a good one. :)

Too late for me to be blogging

Yes it is exactly 10:49 right now, and by the time I finish this blog, it will probably be 10:55 or something. I was falling asleep after a long day of assignments and working at the concession stand for our junior class. Suddenly at like 10:30 or something, a text message woke me up. Yes a text message. I tried my best to wake myself up to type the word "HEY", and I did.The vibration and the new text alert woke me up even more. So now I'm completely awake and not even sure if I can fall asleep again. I am so glad that there was an extension for chapters 1-4. I said I was going to read all the chapters this past weekend, but I didn't :(. I have chapters 1 and 2 complete, so I just have to worry about 3 and 4. I'll probably do chapter 3 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. I don't know, but so far I'm doing well in this class. I like it because it's online, and it kind of allows you to work at your own pace. So yes, that's what's going on :). I can't wait until Friday!! Last week's game was sooo good, and I know our guys will play another awesome one. I better get off before it gets too late. Yes.. It is Sunday morning, and I'm doing a blog. This weekend wasn't to exciting. Friday was fun, but we lost by 1 point! I can't believe it. We were so close!! Our guys played really awesome though. I'm very proud of them :). When I got home from this game, I showered, checked my CBC stuff, texted for a while, and after that was just the start of a terrible weekend. I went to the garage, to get a cork bulletin board with a wooden frame that my mom needs for her classroom. This bulletin board has a wooden frame, and it's pretty big and heavy. As soon as I grabbed it, I dropped it, and the corner landed right between my second and third toe. I screamed because it hurt so much. I couldn't walk. Well, I could but only on my heel of my left foot. It's completely swolen and purple, just the part next to my toes though. Because of this, I couldn't go to the parade on Saturday. I really wanted to go because the band was gonna march, and it's for a grade. Hopefully my teacher understands. Yesterday at about 3 o' clock p.m., I helped my mom clean the garage, even though my foot was killing me. I was standing on my right leg because my left one hurt way to much, and my foot couldn't stand the pressure. There was a chair there so I sat down and organized things so it wasn't too bad. As for today, I'm dedicating my entire day to reading chapters 2-4 and doing the assignments for them. I'll be taking breaks though because like I said, I'm distracted very easily :D . I guess I better stop being a procrastinator and start reading because the chapters are pretty long. Talk to you later! Byeee <3

An Awesome Day :)

Hey there! What's up? Wow! I can't believe the first six weeks of school is over. It went by really fast. I'm glad we didn't have school today though. As for yesterday, since it was only half a day, I decided to get together with a few of my friends to work on the powerpoints for this class. They (Tracy, Mariana, and Gigi) came over at about 6, and we were waiting for Amber to come in from Alice so that she could work with us. Honestly, we were too busy having fun that we didn't start working until 8:30. :) We laughed and acted very silly, especially Tracy. I have never seen that side of her, singing, yelling and everything. It was pretty scary lol. Anyways, worked until about 10:30. We finished the power point with ease. It was a lot of work though, to get the narration and slides timed right. It was worth it though. Overall, I had a good day yesterday with my friends. I'm glad we got those assignments out of the way. Now just to worry about the other power points, these journal blogs, and the chapter work. I think I'll start reading in a while. I am enjoying the book very much because it's actually interesting. To be honest, I thought it was going to be boring, but I was wrong. It's interesting, and I can already tell it's going to improve my communication skills. I better get to my reading so that I don't have to do that tomorrow and Sunday. I'll blog some more later. Hi Hi :)

Well hey there fellow bloggers! How's everything going? As for me, I'm very stressed out. I'm having benchmarks, power points for this class, chapters 2-4 of interpersonal communication, the football game, and a parade on Saturday. There is so much going on this week. I thought it was going to a relaxing one since it's a short week at school. Guess I was wrong. It's ok though. I'm going to have a positive attitude because I know I can make it through. I just finished addressing some envelopes to send out to the exes for homecoming 2008, which I am very excited about. Now I think I'll start reading chapter 2 for this class. I know it's late, but I just can't seem to go to sleep early. I go to sleep every night at about 11, sometimes 11:30. Ironically, I wake up at 6, ready to begin a fantastic day, not tired at all :). But yes. It is 9:50 PM, and I'm off to begin my reading. Enjoy my blog and have a great night!

Just Another Manic Monday :)

I don't like Mondays. It's the first day of the school week, and I always wake up extremely sleepy. I stayed up last night talking to a friend after I did my assignments for Chapter 1. Chapter 1 was very interesting, by the way, I read it yesterday in about 30 minutes. I did well on my Chapter 1 Assessment, Post-Test, and Chapter test. I'm pleased with my grades, and I am probably going to start reading Chapter 2 tomorrow. I can't today because I have to do a notebook for Spanish 2 and Algebra 2. I also have band practice. I am looking forward to this week though because it's a short one. We get out half a day on Thursday and don't have school on Friday. This weekend I am going to read a lot because I want to get ahead in this class :). I already did my individual powerpoint of questions and answers about this course and submitted it on Saturday. I'm hoping to start the group powerpoint as soon as I find out who is in my group. I have to get going because I'm about to show my friend Tracy that Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got married on Saturday. He's one of my favorite actors, andI can't believe he got married. It was so sudden. I just thought I'd say a quick hello and let you know what's going on. I'll talk to you soon. Bye :]

Here I Go Again

Hey my fellow bloggers! Today has been such a hectic day. I'm sick :( with fever, a cough, really bad sinus, and sore throat. I managed to make it through the day, and I am managing to do a blog right now, even though I should be in bed. I haven't gotten my book yet. I need it so that I can begin my work. I'm the type of person who is always ahead of due dates and likes to do things right away. I don't like to wait until the last minute. I DID take the Chapter 1 Pre-test on CourseCompass. I didn't do too shabby for not knowing much about this course. I can't wait to explore the chapters. I skimmed through my friend Nikki's book, and the colors alone are appealing. I can just imagine the text :). I better get going so that I can feel better. I'm glad I had the strength to sit on this chair, with my throbbing headache, and be able to type. Hi everybody!! Wow, I am so pumped to get my book. It should be arriving in the mail soon so that I could begin learning about communication. As of right now, I believe I have good communication skills, but I do hope to improve. I am going to begin working on the power points by tomorrow, atleast the two that are due on October 3rd. Tonight, I have band practice, an English III project, and a US History test I have to study for because I want to maintain my good grades. I just thought I'd make time to write a quick blog, or TYPE a quick blog. It feels good to be blogging. I have never actually keep up with one. I would just type a few then leave it alone for a long time, sometimes permanently. For some reason,other than this blog being for a grade, I actually want to do this. It feels good that I am able to let my feelings out with help from a friend, also known as Mr. Blog :). It's almost time for band practice, so I better head out. My First Bloggy Blog :)

Hey everyone! How's it going? Great, I hope. So.. this is my first blog for the Speech class, which I am really excited about taking :). It seems like it's going to be fun. I still don't have my book though, but I'm hoping to get it soon so that I can start on these assignments. This is my first college class ever, and I think that it's really cool to be taking it online. This online class is going to be really different than my high school classes with teachers explaining assignments to me in person. It's nice that Mr. Fox takes the time to answer questions through the CBC email system, and that's going to help me understand the work, even if I have to ask ten questions about one assigment :). Anyways, just thought I'd post a blog to let everyone know what's going on. Like I said, I haven't gotten the book. I ordered it on Amazon, and it should be delivered sometime next week.
